All it is is a way to get people to compare their score to other people, and.. yes you guessed it, keep up with the Jones's and...Upgrade !

or maybe I'm just overly cynical..  ....nah

Yeah, it does. I know this because of my laptop, again. It is using ATI Radeon Xpress 1150, but Vista recognizes it as a Radeon Xpress 200M card. Before I install the correct driver, I get the score of 2.4 for Graphics Performance. After the driver installation, I get 2.1.

My gaming was 5.9 until I updated to the latest nVidia drivers. Typical...

Damn, mine just barely 3.0 overall.
on Apr 11, 2007
I wish that there were more details available.  I know that I don't have the best RAM . . but I have 2 GB just like Justin and Fuzzy but I end up with a score of 4.1 and they have 5.9 and 5.0 respectively.

Seems like a pretty crappy measurement system to me.

Mine was 5.4 before (I think), but I think the timings are being affected as I overclock.

Edit... thinking on it, I have a matched pair (1 gig each) of 800mhz DDR2 corsair memory.  You guys?

I'll have to check later . .  but if that's the criteria then the stupid evaluation or recommendation should say so.  Ya dig?
on Apr 12, 2007
Yeah.  Ram performance isnt just about how much ya got... its how it does its job.
